The ARM Hybrid Series solar inverter offers great versatility in both GRID-TIED and OFF-GRID applications. Now available in 3KW, 4KW (single phase) and 10KW (three phase) output, the MPI hybrid has extended support to PV input up to 4.5KW, 5KW and 14.85kw, respectively. This benefits users in maximum grid feedback and still leaves enough energy for powering load or charging batteries. Maximum PV input voltage (open circuit) is 500V, 580V, and 900V respectively and this conveniently accommodates a wide range of panels.
The hybrid inverters offer 3 main modes of operation:
In the grid-tied mode with battery backup, unit enables users to specify various priority settings between charging batteries, grid-feedback, and powering load through the interface of bundled software on PC.
In grid-tied mode, the inverter will behave like a pure GT inverter and feedback power to grid.
In off-grid mode, there is no grid-feedback, so users can only program units to either provide PV power to load, or use it for charging batteries.
