• The ARM Hybrid Series solar inverter offers great versatility in both GRID-TIED and OFF-GRID applications.  Now available in 3KW, 4KW (single phase) and 10KW (three phase) output, the MPI hybrid has extended support to PV input up to 4.5KW, 5KW and 14.85kw, respectively.  This benefits users in maximum grid feedback and still leaves enough energy for powering load or charging batteries.  Maximum PV input voltage (open circuit) is 500V, 580V, and 900V respectively and this conveniently accommodates a wide range of panels.

  The hybrid inverters offer 3 main modes of operation:

  

   

  

   

  

  In the grid-tied mode with battery backup, unit enables users to specify various priority settings between charging batteries, grid-feedback, and powering load through the interface of bundled software on PC.

  In grid-tied mode, the inverter will behave like a pure GT inverter and feedback power to grid.

  In off-grid mode, there is no grid-feedback, so users can only program units to either provide PV power to load, or use it for charging batteries.

  Here are some notable features of the HYBRID family:

  Grid Boost (3K only)

  The 3kw model features a special extended load support beyond 3kw, up to 5.1kw max -- when grid-relay is connected.  Please contact our sales team if you would like to find out the specific modes of operation which support this unique feature.  Despite such capability, please note this inverter's individual output is still rated only for 3kw MAX.  Please do not go beyond this rating and also exercise caution when applying inductive type load since they can draw very high surge.  Careless or improper usage of inverter beyond its rating will shorten its lifespan and failure will not be covered under warranty.
  Generator Support (4K only)

  The latest model of the Hybrid family, MPI 4K, features dual AC input which allows grid connection + generator.  Genset starter dry contact is also a standard feature now on this model, and in the absence of grid, users may connect a generator for battery charging.
  Parallel Operation (4K, 10K only)

  Only on 4K and 10K models, they are now able to support direct output parallel of up to 6 units!  All accessories are included and there is no need for any parallel kit.
